Following alarm by a senior administrator of a robbery weeks ago, an investigation was launched by the judicial police commissioner and his team who later found out a 24 year old ex-convict, Thomas Mbega Mvondo was involved. It has just been weeks following the presidential pardon granted to inmates that Mvondo was released. The pardon was granted in a bit to limit the spread of the coronavirus given that all Cameroonian prisons were and still overcrowded.
