To support Russians during the epidemic after health officials reported more than 1,000 new cases of COVID-19, the President included the payments among several new measures to the comfort of workers and civilians.

In its recent statement, the public authorities in charge of agri-food sector in Cameroon has revealed that Cameroon’s demand for wheat flour will be higher than was projected for this year due to the ongoing health crisis.
This has come up following Russia’s announcement to suspend exports till July 1st. Russia supplies Cameroon with over 40% of imported wheat. This makes it Cameroon’s main supplier. So a sudden suspension will greatly affect the quantity and price of wheat products
