Cameroon: Kidnappers Demand 3 million for Kidnapped UBa Student

Njodzeka Claudia a student from the University of Bamenda has been kidnapped. The young lady was kidnapped on Sunday 5th July. She was allegedly taken by her abductors few steps away from her hostel, 'Kristag 1' in Bambili as she stepped out around 6:30pm to get something from a nearby store.

Following the transfers that brought serious controversy in the Catholic University Institute of Buea-CUIB, there was a handing over ceremony yesterday, June 29th, 2020, during which in his speech, Father Nkeze George, who initially denied giving up his post as CUIB president indicated that he will officially quit in his duties as president giving place to another as from tomorrow, July 1st , 2020.

The President of the Republic of Cameroon, Paul Biya has dismissed Dr Sango Martin Ndeh a lecturer in the University of Buea. The lecturer’s dismissal was made public in a decree signed by the president on the 22nd June 2020. Professor Sango Martin Ndeh’s dismissal comes just a few months after Barrister Felix Agbor Balla was dismissed from the University of Buea by the administration. Cameroon Ministry of Basic Education-MINEDUB has signed an argument with the Special Support Fund for Mutual Assistance-FEICOM to consolidate their existing partnership.
