The Fomunyoh foundation of Dr Christopher Fomunyoh, in Kumba has brought smiles and happiness to internally displaced persons. At a ceremony at its Buea road office on July 20, the charity, donated food items to over one hundred internally displaced persons. Beneficiaries were from the blind, dumb and deaf of the ELPHATHA institute, and the Champion Nursery and Primary school that host many IDPs from Mbonge sub division.

The letter from Cameroon Minister of Livestock – MINEPIA, Dr. Taïga to the Brazilian ambassador to Cameroon read in part, “I am honored to authorize the importation of Brazilian poultry products and by-products [into Cameroon].” However, this must be done in strict compliance with the sanitary and zoosanitary requirements of Cameroon, Brazil and the World Organization for Animal Health – OIE, the Minister’s letter indicated.
