Reportedly influenced by his Company, Mboa Snakery Sarl that produces and sells plantain chips Cameroonian Delors Leuwing Ngounouo has won the 3rd edition of the Pierre Castel Prize. It was on Monday, July 6th during the grand jury of the 3rd, 2020 edition of the Pierre Castel Prize in Bordeaux in France that Leuwing was selected as winner of the edition.

Zambia: 12-Year-Old Girl Wins Melanin Challenge

According to the US based Zambian George Mtonga, Sylvia Namukoko, a 12-year-old, Grade 7 pupil of Mufulira, Copperbelt Province in Zambia has won the melanin challenge worth K6, 000 cash prize. The benefits that come with the award are that, the 12-year-old school needs will be sponsored up to grade 12. She is also entitled to a shopping trip and a modelling coaching deal with talent manager and model Mainga Sanderson.

“In Order for Black Lives to Matter, Africa Must Matter”-Burna Boy

During yesterday June 28th International Act of the Bet awards, Burna Boy, Nigerian star said that it was time to go back to royalty and that for black lives to matter, Africa must matter. It was the second consecutive time the Nigerian is being named Best International Act by BET awards. ’The African giant’ took home the award after doing so in 2019. “Now is the time to overturn that and go back to the royalty that we were. Because in order for black lives to matter, Africa must matter” said B.
