“The Anglophone Crisis is historic and has been captured by writers in many ways”

- President Cameroonian Association of Anglophone Writers NW & W Tangyie Suh Nfor, President of the Cameroon Anglophone Writers Association for the Northwest and West Regions has declared that one of the main problems plaguing Cameroonian writers in English is theabsence of good Publishing Houses. He was speaking on Tuesday at the Regional Delegation of the Ministry of Arts and Culture at Up Station in Bamenda during celebrations marking the World Book and Copy Rights Day.

Prof. George Nyamndi is Associate Professor of Literature with the University of Buea. He studied in Switzerland and returned to Cameroon in 1983 and worked with the then Ministry of Information and Culture until 1993 when he moved to the University of Buea to take up a teaching assignment. He is currently the National President of the Social Liberal Congress Party (SLC) and was twice his party’s presidential candidate in 2004 and 2011 presidential elections in Cameroon.
