During a plenary session of the Major National Dialogue, Barrister Akere Muna presented Sultan Ibrahim Njoya's  proposals against the electorial code and to the revisiting of the constitution, a thing that came as a shock to many since the Sultan is a strong leading personality of the Cameroon's People Democratic Movement-CPDM, the ruling party, and a member of House Of Senate.

SULTAN IBRAHIM MBOMO-NMAJOR NATIONAL DIALOGUE

The sultan demanded for limitation in the institution of presidential terms. He suggested a five years' renewable for once, presidential term.

To him, a Major National Dialogue without revisiting the constitutions comes with strings of greediness attatched to it.

Sultan Njoya equally requested that some detained persons should be granted clemency. He did not leave out the demand for the release of those imprisoned before the conduction of  last presidential elections.
