ELECAM: HM Tsidie Gabriel Images Victorious in Election Rerun, Menoua Division

Following the head of the West regional bureau of Elections Cameroon - ELECAM, Abdoulahi Boboe promise of a free, fair, and transparent on Monday March 29th, 2021, on Sunday April 4th, 2021, the list of Tsidie Gabriel was declared winner of the rerun of the partial regional elections in Menoua division, West Region.

The West court of Appeal made public the verdict yesterday Monday, April 5th, 2021. HM Gabriel Tsidie won against HM Albert Gnintemzem who has accepted defeat.

It was at Lycée Classique of Dschang that the voting took place and over 156 voters made up of traditional rulers marked present to fulfill this civil duty.

Declared winners alongside HM Gabriel Tsidie of Bamendou were HM Placide Nguefack of Fossong-Wentcheng, in Dschang subdivision and HM Benjamin Mfoko of Fonguetafou (Sanzo), in the Santchou subdivision. This group of winner is in line with the fact that the rerun was set to elect three remaining seats of traditional rulers in this council of the West Region.

Before Abdoulahi Boboe reassurance, equipment like ballot boxes, voting booth and other documents needed during the voting were already made readily available and a resolution of the electoral board of ELECAM had equally put a regional supervising commission in place to affect the promises.

The two lists in competition were headed by HM Gabriel Tsidie and HM Albert Gnintemzem.
