Like the late mayor of Buea, Ekema Patrick and his successor David Mafani Namange, Adamu Shuaïbu Ibrahim, the Divisional Officer - DO for Ndu Donga Mantung Division in the North West Region has embarked in the efforts to put an end to Ghost town observation.

Ndu Town

While supervising the economic activities in the town of Ndu, Mr. Ibrahim has sealed all the shops in the Ndu Market because of traders' strict respect for the ghost town day observed every Monday.

It should be recalled that while fighting to stop the observation of ghost town by inhabitants of his constituency, the mayor, his administration alongside security officers used to go out on Mondays to seal closed shops.
