A 52-year-old man has committed suicide in Douala after assaulting his three kids with a machete over their mother`s allegded infidelity.
The horror occurred in the early hours of Friday, December 18th, 2020 in the PK 11 locality, Douala III of the Littoral Region.
Identified as Foka Laurent Xavier, a motorbike rider by profession had received a call from a supposed lover of his wife. The said lover guy told Xavier that he is lodging his wife and children.
The father of three got furious after the phone call and resulted into slaughtering the kids after which he committed suicide by hanging.
The three children who are all students at the universities of Douala and Dschang were taken urgently to the general hospital in Douala.
According to sources close to the family, the Foka couple had been in perpetual conflict for at least three years now, due to the woman’s infidelity.
The state of the children at the moment is yet unknown.
