Women are increasingly becoming tools in the hands of the Boko Haram Suicide bombers in Northern Cameroon. Reports from the scene show that the women are sometimes drugged, threatened, or forced to carry bombs to public places

This was the case of the female suicide bomber in the Far North Region yesterday. The Cameroon security forces neutralized her on realizing that he was loaded with bombs around her waist heading from the border into Cameroon.

It was during an invasion by the Boko Haram terrorist group who launched an attack on the night of December 16 breaking Thursday, December 17 in the Mayo Tsanaga Division of the Mayo Moskota, about 400 meters from Cameroon border with  Nigerian that she was apprehended and killed.

The lady who had explosives strapped to her waist ready was in her early twenties and as the Cameroon military retaliated she was neutralized before she could penetrate the Cameroon territory far in to cause more damage.
