The Minister of State in the Ministry of Higher education, Professor Jacques Fame Ndongo will be presiding over a video conference with Vice-chancellors and Rectors of all state’s universities.

A communiqué signed by the minister on Monday August 10^th, 2020 informs that the conference will hold today August 11, 2020 at 10 am.

It will focus on evaluating the various response strategies against the ranging coronavirus pandemic that have been applied in the university institutes.

Universities in Cameroon like other academic institutes also went on the COVID-19 lockdown that was applied as one of the strategies to fight against the propagation of the virus in academic milieus.

Meantime, the latest government reports shows that Cameroon has 17,255 confirmed cases, 15,320 recoveries, 3,87 deaths with 1,548 active cases and 1,55 hospitalized including 09 on oxygen.
