Two Inmates Died in the Douala Prison Flames

Reports from sources in the Douala Central Prison reveal the death of two inmates who got stocked in the ravaging flames that caught part of the prison yesterday May 28th, 2020.

The two, both male could not find a way out of the burning dormitory while the flames took whole of it.

Sources have it that the two “were burnt to death as they could not easily escape the flames.” Meanwhile, one of the six injured is said to be ‘battling between life and death,’ Mimi Mefo has reported.

Meantime, the identity of the two remains unknown as officials are yet to confirm the total casualties.
