According to Brazilian media, the tax was for constructing an unauthorized pier at the edge of a lake in a protected area. It was following his failure in 2018 to pay this tax, that his country deprived him of a Brazilian passport.
Fans have blamed his brother, who is his business manager. They believe that he is highly at fault for all that that football star is facing today. They argue that if the manager brother had done his job while Ronaldinho was following his career, things won’t have taken this turn.
Nevertheless, behind bars, the Barca star enjoyed some privileges like his having his phone. While there, his former Barca captain, Carles Puyol, gave him a surprised call, which excited him and even gave him hope.
